In a world where we encounter a shortage of resources and ever-changing social conditions, the lifespan of design must be re-investigated and expanded to consider a wider range of materials & fabrication techniques.

Developed for alt.material 2022, bound. utilises ready-made and recycled objects to construct a modern chair which maintains a raw connection to materiality. Constructed from exhaust pipes, rebar, Danish cord and cork, it's held together entirely through tension and explores the concept of complete recyclability through disassembly into unaltered base components.
